My pH is low, how do I correct it?
The installation of a neutralizer. This system contains a limestone product.

What causes the “blue-green” stains
in my tub?
This is caused by low pH. The water is corroding your copper piping and you will probably get pin hole leaks.

I have orange/brown stains, what’s
causing this?
This is usually an indication of the presents of iron and/or manganese. You should install a softener system. Backwashing cycle and sizing would be determined by the parameter readings of iron content.

My system backwashes during the day. It used to backwash at night.
Your system should have a “time of day” setting which controls a clock and is probably set wrong due to electric outage at some time. Re-set the clock.

How come my neighbor’s water is good and mine is not?
Aquifers do not run in a straight line. Even if your wells are the same depth, etc, you could be in different aquifers.

I get water spots on my glasses?
These are caused by hard water. Installation of a softener will eliminate the hardness. If you have a softener and still get spots, have a technician service the system and make show the media is good and settings are correct for the water usage and parameters.

My water smells like “rotten eggs”?
This is usually caused by sulphur. The smell could be from the water and/ or your water heater. Determine the source to proceed with solution. If it is your water a carbon system can help or the best way is an “oxidizer”
